Marrakech Morocco | Maroc - By Rail

Marrakech, the tourist heart of Morocco! The last leg of the holiday :(

I have been to Marrakech before, so everything felt familiar. However, I stayed in a different part of the City this time, and in a tranquil Riad rather than in a bustling hostel.

There is so much to do in Morocco, definitely read up on TripAdvisor  - however, as I'd been before I spent much of my time here relaxing, drinking fresh juice, and slowly wondering through the Markets.

Casablanca Morocco | Maroc - By Rail

Another early start, and off to the station to catch the train to Casablanca. Train tickets in Morocco are really good value, so we booked first class. The difference between first class and standard being that in each cabin in standard class are 8 seats, and in first class you have 6. The train ride Fes to Casablanca was around 4 hours long, and the first class ticket cost around £12.

Casablanca's, for want of a better word, main attraction is The Hassan II Mosque or Grande Mosquée Hassan II Arabic: مسجد الحسن الثاني‎ nickname: "Casablanca Hajj".

Chefchaouen - The Beautiful Blue City of Morocco

Chefchaouen/ Chaouen (شفشاون/الشاون‎) is a Blue City in North-West Morocco, in the Rif Mountains, and is quite possibly the most magical place I have ever been.

Chefchaouen/ Chaouen (شفشاون/الشاون‎)

I had seen photos of the place on Instagram, and had to visit. I did my research, and booked a day excursion - it cost the equivalent of around £80 for the two of us, this included private car (driver, and petrol), and a tour guide upon arrival at the City.

Fes, Morocco | Fez, Maroc - By Rail

It's been a few years, but I'm back in beautiful Morocco - and this time I'm starting my trip in Fes (Fez). I decided to begin my journey in Fes for several reasons...
- Last time I was in Morocco, the locals of Marrakech told me to visit there
- The flights were very cheap, I guess it's not as much of a tourist go-to as Marrakech
